Product brief / US business buyers

Custom beanie sourcing starts with the delivery brief

A cuffed knit for a retail shelf, a stitched team mark, or a winter event handout starts with different buying decisions. Tell us the material composition, decoration, quantity and destination that define your order.

Custom Beanie Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner. We help find possible factories and compare wholesale quotes against your approved brief.

What a usable quote needs

An inexpensive unit line can omit decoration setup, labels or individual packing. Record those lines before comparing totals. A material-family certificate or a photograph cannot establish the fiber composition or construction of the exact item offered.

One product family, different assortment questions

Retail assortment

Keep color and fit consistent

State the size run and color quantities separately. Ask how yarn lots, cuff depth and care labels will be tracked across the quoted assortment. A general “one size” label needs a fit sample before acceptance.

Team & club

Check the mark on the knit

A dense stitched logo may change stretch or stiffness. Request the artwork dimensions, stitch interpretation and a decorated sample rather than approving a flat digital proof alone.

Event program

Plan the handout pack

Confirm how pieces are bundled, labeled and distributed. An event date is a buyer target, not a supplier delivery promise; sample approval, production and freight assumptions must be stated separately.

These are purchasing situations, not client results. Review use-case requirements or browse the product inquiry options.

Start with what you know

Send the brief; leave unknowns visible

Provide fabric weight where relevant, piece counts, colors, decoration placement and timing. An optional budget needs currency and a per-unit or whole-order basis. Premium, mid-range and budget preferences guide discussion; they are not verified supplier grades.

Availability, MOQ, samples and quoted delivery require factory confirmation. Read the procurement brief for questions to carry into your RFQ.
